This is very useful when
we talk about regular SQL backup and maintenance. Here are the steps to follow
it makes a scheduler and take backup as per your scheduled time and date.
Step 1: Go to SQL
Server 2008 go to the management, right click on Maintenance Plan, click on
Maintenance Plan Wizard
Step 2: Click
next enter your plan name and description you will see in screen
Step 3: Click next
and select your maintenance task (Back up database full)
Step 4: Click
next to see the BackupDatabase (full)
Step 5: Click
next to select the database name and back path to be stored as given screen.
Click O.K and next to go further
Step 6: Click
next, next to until finish to complete the wizard
Step 7: After
click on finish you see the successful screen. Click on your maintenance plan
you see the below screen
Step 8: click on
schedule to schedule your maintenance plan to execute on day and time and click
on OK.
Step 9: If you
want to test whether my maintenance plan is working or not, you just right
click on your maintenance plan and execute it.
